Zoom Class: Developing a Personal Meditation Practice (Thursday Sessions)

May 9th, May 16th and May 23rd from 8:00 am -9:30am

I will go over the following in 3 classes.
• where meditation comes from & why it works
• the basics of successful meditation
• what meditation is & what it isn’t
• the 3 ingredients required for any meditation
• the physical, mental, emotional, & lifestyle benefits that will unfold
• what experiences you might have
• how you can be more mindful in your everyday life
• the effects of stress: how it accumulates & how to release it
• recent research findings on meditation & the brain
• how meditation changes your brain
• 3 ways meditation trains your attention
• easy-to-use meditation techniques
• guided & personalized meditation instruction
• how to meditate anywhere & how to create a successful personal practice
• easy everyday practices

You will be given practices to do every week that range between 10-15 minutes a day. Each week you will have a personalized meditation that happens at the end of each session. Those who want to stay on for further discussion, can. That will happen from 10-10:30am.
