Why Meditate?

The many benefits of meditation are scientifically proven. When you meditate, you’re actually changing the structure of your brain. The amygdala (think: fight or flight) becomes less dense, and the hippocampus, the seat of learning and memory, becomes more dense.

The effect is that your mood and emotional regulation improve. Your reactions are less intense. You find space in your life you didn’t know existed. You can relax.

Meditation is a practice and a technique. It’s accessible to anyone, anywhere, at any time. And my goal is simple: I want more people to know about meditation and how it can shift your life, because it has shifted mine so profoundly.

Hi, I’m Jodi!

Once upon a time, I was working in the corporate world, running on the hamster wheel, overwhelmed and never living in the present moment. I reached a breaking point. And then I discovered meditation.

I started to parent differently, manage differently, and coach differently. I gained a wider perspective and more compassion. I stepped out of a judgment space, and landed in a space of grace.

Starting on a meditation journey felt like a coming home. And I want the same for you.
